  • Are you still using this method with your Tormach Mill? I've been kicking around the idea of making an auto touch plate for Z for my 1100, but can't seem to find anyone that has done it. I emailed Tormach and they didn't want any part of it, saying they don't recommend putting voltage through the machine.

  • we are making practically the same thing for the lathe on school.

to center the tools. also, you complete the circuit by letting the toolbit touch the tool.

  • Woops too late. Thank you for the info though

  • Can you please tell me how you wired in the alligator clip. Was it hard. I am very handy but it would make the process a whole lot easier with some guidlines. I have been thinking for a long time of getting a tool setter and your video inspired me. I just ordered one. Thank you

  • MSC has then for 89.00 now.
