Are you still using this method with your Tormach Mill? I've been kicking around the idea of making an auto touch plate for Z for my 1100, but can't seem to find anyone that has done it. I emailed Tormach and they didn't want any part of it, saying they don't recommend putting voltage through the machine.
Can you please tell me how you wired in the alligator clip. Was it hard. I am very handy but it would make the process a whole lot easier with some guidlines. I have been thinking for a long time of getting a tool setter and your video inspired me. I just ordered one. Thank you

we are making practically the same thing for the lathe on school.
to center the tools. also, you complete the circuit by letting the toolbit touch the tool.
