  • fucking gay intro

  • Hi, perhaps you can help, ive got the 2tb elements play model and a mate uploaded 1000+ movies in singapore for me, im wondering if there are places in the uk i can get more movies uploaded on to it, my mate gave some guy at a stall $100 (AUS) to do it. I live in Leeds and wondering if anywhere will have loads of movies on their PC and can upload me some at a price. anyone know anywhere or even if dodgey places like that exist? cheers

  • i have the 3 tb version :D

  • @DJmxit1 thanks a lot!

  • @velova use the disk utility and select msdos Fat option!

  • does anybody know how to foromatt this harrdrive onto Mac ?

  • got that one too since yesterday, works fine :D

  • @thecomputerhelper321 is the 1.5gb version good? and would i really need a usb 3.0 hdd?

  • now it is in 2.5 TB

  • @ALLPAiNiSGONE92 It's funny how I see in both unboxing comments of both external hard drives of WD and Seagate of how both fail and don't work. Everyone makes mistakes in their products and nothing is perfect.

  • @ALLPAiNiSGONE92

Mine has broken down too. I sure won't buy this shit disk again.

  • show ur face an all..u sound cute :)

  • @juanchogutro buy a portable one then

  • Okay, sorry if I sound ignorant but... The hardrive needs to be connected to the wall?

Why? I mean... If I want to take something out or travel with it I have to take the cable too?

  • @tourpiack i think its 930gb :D

  • Your intro scared the crap out of me.

    Shame on you!

  • @tourpiack it is 1224 gbs.

  • how big is this compared to a Nintendo Wii or A4 paper?

  • Bought the 2TB version of this and it dosen't work.

Well it worked for some hours and I was able transfer a few files, but then it stop responding all the time and now my computer won't recognize it anymore. All programs stop working on my computer when I plug in the USBn:(

Anyone got a clue? I'm thinking of buying a new extern instead...

  • @ALLPAiNiSGONE92 Oh... Well, if you opened it and then sent to them, you could say that they erased your data... That's why they won't accept "opened" HDs. But can't you send it to them free of charge for repair?

  • @ALLPAiNiSGONE92 1. It can't destroy for NO reason... 2. WD is leader in storage devices production.

I've never had any problems with their support, in fact I never had to even contact them :D. And almost all my HDs are WD. One is old about 8 years and still working like new. Inside, in fact, they are all the same (I mean external HDs).

  • what is the total size of 1tb?is not exactly 1tb?thnz

  • @ALLPAiNiSGONE92 as i said i have dropped it several times....all my electronic devices are pused to their limits...my laptop has 500gb hd and its almost full, the same with the my WD passport essential. Also my ipod touch has 32gb memory and i have 20gb music and 8gb apps...my psp is 7 years old and its fine!i have dropped it uncountable times....so dont even ask me how hard i push my stuff! ;)

  • WD Passport stuff is retarded. For one thing, it has firmware, so its useless to anyone who doesnt use either windows or Mac (like Linux or Playstation users). I bought a 500 gig one, and the firmware/installed software takes up several gigs! DO NOT BUY ONE unless you like having a rootkit installed in your hardware!

  • @ALLPAiNiSGONE92 i think you are wrong...i have WD my passport essential for 2 years now and i have no problems with it.i have dropped it a couple of times and it still works...
