@Dessierey Tanuki are famous in Japanese mythology for being shapechangers (this is usually performed by the tanuki placing a leaf on its head, referenced in Super Mario Brothers 3 with the leaf that transforms Mario into raccoon mode), and also for being scam artists, changing shape to trick humans out of money or food.

@Dessierey They are not 'raccoons', but a type of raccoon dog, and in Japanese folklore the Tanuki were shapeshifters and their magic was in their scrotum. This is a play off the fact that the Tanuki (a real animal) has exaggerated scrotums.

Why do the raccoons have magical stretchy scrotums that can work as parachutes? (which are not shown in this trailer)
