How can one be open minded when DC has done the company wide REBOOT twice before this..

1994s ZERO HOUR zero month ( exactly the same thing this 2011 reboot is)

and 2006's 1yr later attempt.

The 1994 ZERO MONTH had new titles, company wide continuity tweaks, and lots of new creative teams---- NOT A SINGLE THING LASTED A FULL YR. NOTHING!!!!

Y do we have to endure this failure and MASSIVE continuity confusion again??

@masonTganes I agree that it is irritating. That's why this is also a great jumping OFF point. I just don't think as many people are actually going to walk away from the company as there are people who are saying they are going to walk away from the company.

The very point of the reboot is to streamline the convoluted histories of the characters, so to suggest alternate realities defeats the objective, I think. However, good vid :) ps- I don't think they should have done it.

For me, the problem with Crisis wasn't the actual Crisis, it was the follow-up and lack of co-ordination among the editors and writers...ie, not planning how rebooting WW would affect Donna Troy and the Titans, rebooting Hawkman would affect the JLA, etc. And I do find some of DC's current continuity confusing with regard to certain characters backstories (WW is a founding member of the JLA! No she isn't! Yes she is!), so we'll see how DC handles this reboot.

Alright , so i'm new to the whole comic book scene. I'm planning to follow certain series of the reboot , but its basicly a story right? Its not just that 1 comic is 1 story, its going to be a long series of comics right?..wow , i feel like such a noob >< I hope you can kinda clear that up for me :]

Ah! I love your reasoning with this! A new "boom" is exactly my thoughts, actually. I have shamelessly made a list of new comics I would like to buy and had friends revive it and talk to people that don't even read comics for it. I'm optimistic on this, so I'm hoping your fist prediction is right.

and I don't think all the characters coming back form the dead is bad at all. I actually find it interesting, personally. (then again, I plan on working for DC someday.)
