I hate to admit, I always tear up a little when listening to this. It feels like Maureen is singing to me, telling me not to let go of my memories because once gone, you can't get them back. Enjoy everything you do while you can because though you want a second chance, you may not get it. As for this movie, I didn't like it when I first saw but after becoming a Lorenzo Music fan, I fell in love with it. The movie is definitely for those with big imaginations.

When I might not want to see the whole thing,
When a song will do; thanks to youtube. :)

I know, Someone should write to Lucasfilms and Warner Brothers to release this movie on Blu-Ray uncut and all or have it on Criterion, i loved this since i was a kid and they have it uncut here on youtube

Brilliant film that needs a DVD/Blu-ray special edition release pronto!

Something I wanted to mention, you actually hear a little more of the song during the end credits in the movie then on the 45, not counting the artificial extension of the song to repeat the second verse (to drag it out to find the entire credit sequence).

Great job on this video.
This a crazy ass movie. What the hell is taking them so long to put it on DVD?

I have it on good authority that they will never put this on DVD.

I just found the 7"/45 rpm of this! Very excited to have it, as I've been looking for awhile. Only thing is, it's a promo copy, which is good in its own way, but doesn't have "Out On My Own" as the b-side which the commercial version supposedly has.

I have the 45 too. I'm somewhat skeptical as to the existence of a "commercial" version. I know 'the OTHER TuT page' talks about it but any other mention I've heard of it seems to have gotten their info from that page. Maybe the *other* other website had harder proof, like an actual photograph? It's long gone though, so who knows...

So... what was the B-side? "Heartbreak Town"? Oh. "Out on My Own." Should have been "Heartbreak Town."

@CaptainSiberia One side is a mono mix of 'Twice Upon a Time' and the other is stereo
