Robert Shiller: 'More tough times ahead for the US'

What we need is more debt, an even bigger government and more paper money pumped into the system. Then, the economy can collapse and we can rebuild a production based system without so much free market destroying government.

I agree on the timing, but I would not put my faith in a lot of cash for then. I could be worth slightly more than toilet paper then.

Wait a second, perfect man for the job!!?? wtf!? Did he really say that? That's disappointing.

In an interview ealier this year Schiller was asked by a CNN host what he was invested in. His response was that he owned no US stocks and was primarily in cash. In his book he thew out a question to readers "What if the stock market crashed and never came back" Yes is a scholar type economist but he personally knows just how bad things could get.
