  • @Phil145021 using glue is a relatively new idea, at least around where im from & not alot ppl think about it. Ive offered it 2 many clients & even though i always urge them 2 use glue, not many want 2 spend the extra money on glue or extra labor. & even on jobs i have glued we still use the same about of screws as always 4 extra security. I agree with u on the leavin the board a half inch off the ground. The way he forced that board n, there is no way that the board is laying flat of every stud

  • NEVER, EVER angle ANY screw for ANY reason. Why isn't this board being glued? More glue, less screws. Also, ALWAYS leave the board 1/2" off the floor.

  • DID ANYONE NOTICED THAT HE COVERED THE ELECTRICAL ON O:16?

  • why do i always get commercials in you tube? i hate then.

  • Your first screw was waaay to deep. You should NEVER break the surface of the paper but the screw should leave a little "dimple". If the paper is broken at the screw head, leave it, pulling it out will pull out material and create a bulge. Instead screw in again at least 1 inch away and just mud over the screw that is too deep.

  • I have watched a lot of expert villages vids and some info is decent but most are wrong! Jon.. kuddos for making the video but your teaching people to do this the wrong way and you are costing them money when they have to hire a pro to redo what they screwed up. Screws on seams should never be angled and they should be screwed every 6-8 inches. The field can be screwed every 12-14 inches. Also its easier to mark every 16" with a string line when the board is laying down.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHHAA

  • @TheCbrennan06 Your comment shows the difference between professionals who do a job right and a hackjob that looks like shit. Maybe you don't have any pride in your work or your home, but some of us do.
