What is People String and Do you want it?

I signed up for free and at the moment am just whetting my teeth on the website. All I know so far is that when people sign up, even for the free membership you get people points and .50 credit. So I am introducing this to all my contacts.
I attended a webinar this morning and learned a little more about the background and reason that People String was started. The short version is that it eliminated the middle men in the internet marketing equation and puts money in the pockets of the consumers. (thats us, if you are taking notes)
