A vintage Roland G-505 is modified with the 24-pin electronics removed, and 13-pin electronics installed, using the vintage GR pickup to drive custom built 13-pin electronics card. The controls are replaced with traditional volume, tone, GK-synth volume, and the original balance knob is rewired as a Roland EV-5 control. The G-505 plays a Roland VG-88. http://www.gr300.com
Yes, it is a little bit of work though.

The G-505 is a very cool Strat-type. Can any Synth Guitar be retrofitted from 13 or 24 to 23 pin?

Question completely unrelated to the guitar... What video editing software do you use?
