£200 glasses should have gone to specsavers haha! oh my im so funny! im geussing the glasses are quite thick ones if they make a dent on yer nose! but is a massive sum of money! i get my glasses for £120 normally with scrath resistant coating on them :D

I have incredibly poor eyesight and astigmatism in one eye. And because they are so poor the lenses are thick even when I get the third-most expensive 'thin' sort. They are still so thick they poke out the sides of the frames.

Rant: So the homeless guy admitted to having an ASBO for asking for change, did he? Hah. In my opinion, ANY homeless people should immediately get slapped with an ASBO, if they're seen by police actively pestering the public for money. Odds are they DON'T in fact need a bus to get home, but a substantial sum of money to take to their individual drug dealers, with whom they work. Once they've asked you, they'll walk over to someone else. You're just left wanting to yell 'GET A JOB!' /rant.

You've had leaks in your flat, correct?

My guess is it's mold. Might want to have a look at the ventilation ducts, they might be rather ugly with dust, moisture and mold.

Some molds are pretty toxic - Stachybotrys being an example of a bad one. It's almost black with a slight green tinge, and it thrives in moisture. The spores carry over a hundred toxins, some of them neurotoxins.

ahhh i see! well i just have short sightedness(? if its a word) but they keep getting worse very quickly which is a bit worrying! all i know is i have a -2.0 in both eyes. i have heard someone saying they have -7.5 and -8 in there eyes which im guessing is very bad! so yeah that is a bit of a pickle, its either wearing windows or contacts, i'd go for the contacts if i were in your position :D

Don't ever give to beggers. They may be the nicest people in the world but it's unlikely that they will use the money wisely. If you must give to the homeless then a recognised low-admin cost charity is best - Sally Army is good still, Centre Point too(?), but anyway one that guarantees to hand out food fairly. It's almost a 100% certainty that your money will end up in the pocket of somebody who owns a fancy German car and Rolex if you sub the beggar direct.
