I love you stuff dave! and I don't mean to be hatin' on ya either, but in the forum you back up this statement "You can't polish a turd".
by ADDING eq, You're trying to add poop to something that is a polished piece of work.
The way the eq bends the frequencies are different when you do subtractive eq in comparison to additive EQ.
To me, most my stuff sounds better subtractive, and recently I've made somedemolishingn basses due to this.

Dave i also hope you do a melodic/heavy DNB 7 day Tutorial, the kind of sound i'm looking for is similer to Loki with the beats and a lot of melody and atmosphere with pads and reese bass, thumbs up if you would like this too :)
