Darren McCrea, a medical marijuana activist and provider who helps legal medical marijuana patients in Spokane, Wash., find their medicine through his organization, Spocannabis, was arrested Tuesday night, June 3, 2008 and charged with "selling marijuana."

McCrea, who selflessly devotes himself to helping the sick and dying patients who qualify for legal medical marijuana under Washington state law, is the victim of a program of harassment and intimidation from police under the direction of Washington Attorney General Rob McKenna, who refuses to respect and enforce the very laws he is sworn to uphold.

The police should give the one patient his medicine so he will have more time to find another provider.

I don't undestand why police are wasting so much time on cannabis and destroying patients lives, patients already have so much against them, it would be more productive to get the meth labs and rapists, and violent people off the streets.. or even serve the dead beat parents warrants that are backed up for years and get the back child support, so children don't have to live in proverty.
