The only thing that matters is your funny to yourself. Who cares what everyone else thinks. If your a professional comedian and you can't make your self laugh to the point where it hurts sometimes. Then maybe you shouldn't try to make others laugh to only get their approval, your most likely in it for the wrong reasons.

Because it's the Apollo and they don't care who you are or who you THINK you are. If you aren't bringing it every night they will let you know. As Dave Chapelle said himself, it was the best thing that ever happened to him. So what if you get booed offstage. Get back to work, get better and kill 'em next time!
