The second episode showing the current progress. I flied solo on a lot of this and wasnt able to take as many detailed pics.

Be sure that the helmet WAS covered in a layer of gold on top of the brown (you can see it in the background of one of the drill shots)

We were originally going to pop a rubber ball and place wire under it, but that didnt work AT ALL, so we made a wire frame and did paper mache.

The shots of rounded plastic are color tests for the final body

I rethreaded the drill because it looked too sloppy; added a wire base

I punched some holes into the bottoms of some small silver flowerpots for teh Fishing Weights, painted them to look rusty

I spent a lot of time making the tank look old and rusted, experimenting with splatter from a spraypaint can

MORE SOON! THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO TOOK INTEREST IN THE FIRST VIDEO

  • Just so everyone knows:

I am hard at work getting my Big Daddy suit done to wear by Halloween, and after that I will be selling it on ebay

Would anyone here buy it? how much should i charge? I was thinking about starting at the cost of everything ($400 so far) plus shipping...

  • i would pay huge money for the finsihed product man!

  • Really? how much? I'd sell it, but only AFTER the halloween season

BTW, still working on making it more sturdy, BC although the product at the end of my 3rd video looks great, it sorta fell apart a bit, but i'm not giving up! I will definetely do a motion test video when it is completed

  • thats awsome man bioshock iss relly fun but everyone who makes these costumes never makes rosies

  • Probably BC the rosie is too damn easy. Doing a bouncer is a real challenge.

Also, there are people who have done rosies. I've seen em. you just gotta look

Funny thing about that, before i started, I was thinking about doing a rosie, BC i saw a $10 toy jackhammer at toys r us that, if painted, would look just like the rivet gun! ha!

  • dude thank you you took the exacte same way to do the head that isi what i did like i said last time please finish ps you might want to grind down the eye things

  • I wont grind down the eye things, but once I get the rollcage up, it 'll negate the intensity of them

  • bioshock is deffinatly underappreciated.

it deserves more credit than it gets.

  • the eye holes are spread too far to each side they are arranged moe like a six pack then two on the side
