I lived at 322 E 4th street for 10 years!

i can't belive i get to see many familiar places.

your other video starts at the deli where i use to get my bagels in the morning, facing the gas station. everyday i had to walk there to go to 2nd ave to take the F train.

I live in a small town (pop. about 20,000)

but it has a lot of through traffic because it's in between two towns that are pretty good size (pop. between both about 300,000) and ive found myself signaling for people to go when they have a green light at a stop light. people around here just dont know how to react around cyclelists. It makes me wanna live in a big city one day. my friends dont ride with me anymore because they think i ride to hard and fast lol. oh well what r u gonna do?

This is very similar to the route I take every day--55th & B'way to 14th & 1st! (Except I do try not to mix with that throng of peds at Herald Square.) I'm glad the vid featured the way "bike" lanes really get used--as parking for cop cars!

wow. i've only lived in the east village for a year now and i regonized almost the whole thing. i've skated almost the same route. weird. great video, makes me wanna make one.
