I love to see technique drowning by compositions like this, because composition is what will be remembered and what really matters. Full hands up to this extraordinary arrangement and its creator

Lovely: like a cross between someone shooting crows with a rifle and a jack hammer tearing up pavement. Brilliant (heavy sarcasm) writing.

I watched one of Carlo's German student named Martin Pramanik play a recital for the SFCGS back in 1997.It was the first time I heard Domeniconi's music and I've been hooked ever since.I had to buy Martin's CD after the recital.Look him up
here and watch his interpretation of Koyunbaba.
Who cares about some flubbed notes? Even the great masters of guitar miss, but that doesn't make them better or worse musicians.
This is the most expressive and powerful performance of this piece I've ever heard.
