Probably one of my favourite scenes of all time. Lieutenant Colonel Frank Slade, played by Al Pacino in his Oscar winning performance, gives a little talk about leadership and integrity during the end of the movie "Scent of a Woman". To keep you a little in sight here, Charlie (played by Chris O'Donnell) is about to be expelled because he is not snitching about what he saw, while the people who are quite clearly involved are being let go, primarily because they're rich. Enjoy a truly classic moment in movies.

yes I agree. it seems that most people dont considering the thumbs downs you got. but i guess we are probably a rare breed of people. you definitely must look at things from someone elses standpoint, and for the good of the community's.
so in summary, charlie is a nice middle classer with a deal to go into HARVARD, he knows its right to tell the truth, but its the deal that fucks wit his mind; the colonel believes its not right to buy your future by giving in to these rich spoiled kids, the colonel believes he is not like them because any other one of those kids would have snitched, plus george was able to get off the hook because of his dad, thats a lil bitch move, do u find that right?
Charlie to Mr Trask: "Mr. Trask, even though I know you are trying to help me, I do take offense in the fact that you think I need to be bought to do the right thing! I want you to be aware that if I were ever to be recommended by anyone, including you, I would expect to be recommended for the fact that I am an honorable person and a great student or not be recommended at all... because I am no weasel, sir! If you can keep that in mind, then I will tell you what I know about this incident."
