John, thanks for the memories!!! Man the song is now my favorite. I'll tell you how I chose it. I was watching the end of You Me and Dupree, John being Dupree to Missy and I in college and the song plays I knew that song was it!!! My wife was in a rush and I told her she had to wait so I could find the song on itunes. I had a vision how I wanted to do a movie with pictures but didn't want to have it to a regular song. I needed a John song, like in that Rocky movie where Apollo dies and Sylvester gets in his lamborgni and drives like Ryan stated 150 miles an hour and Rocky has flashbacks of all the great times he had with Apollo. This song started off slow but gets going and I envisioned making Johns pictures/memories fling with the beat of the song, where you kind of take a backseat to Johns life and flashback to his life.

What got me is I didn't pick the song for the words but for the sound. I felt like I heard the song for years and NO kidding I asked my wife when was that song over the radio, and she said she never heard it before.

Today I REALLY got listening to the words and WOW!!! Like I will fix you (which John did), The lights will guide you home(him ascending into heaven), Wipe the tears away as they roll down your face(meaning us), and so on.

I believe that song was meant to be. Until Saturday I had NO idea what song to do. When I heard it on You me and Dupree the hard work was over and I could begin the project. For 3 hours yesturday I worked on it with my wife yelling for me to come spend time with the family for fathers day. I couldn't I was into the video, that is what I wanted for father's day. I never used the software to make the project before so it took time to figure it out and was frustrating. I saw it a million times thinking I could never tear up to it because I worked on it so long and couldn't see the finished product first. I saw each scene over and over well yesturday I teared up and today too.

I didn't choose the song, John did.
