Hi Rob,
you use your thumb on all the strings in this C major scale excercise.
It seems more natural for me to use my index and middle finger on the G and B strings.
Should I practice thumb only?

Great. Just practice each week's lesson, using practice companion A, and don't worry about videos B or C.
You should be able to get through it all in 7 weeks, with half an hour a day for practice.
