A baby's growth takes 40 weeks from conception to birth. Look closely at this H1N1 vaccination clinical trial which is about to take place, and the data they are gathering- they are looking for "pregnancy outcomes" after the shot as a secondary outcome - but the trial is so short it doesnt even account for enough time for the babies to be born. So why even tally those 'pregnancies'? Shouldn't this trial be a few months longer to carefully observe mothers and baby past labour and delivery?!?...or are they more concerned with pregnancy numbers and/or 1st and 2nd trimester outcomes?

See for yourself on the clinical study register http://www.gsk-clinicalstudyregister.com/protocol_detail.jsp?protocolId=11358...
