oh yeah he ditched em for the hooligans but then the hooligans wouldnt take him back after his affair gf found out he was a copper, but after that when he had no'one left he shoulda asked his friends for forgiveness but i guess he was too messed up in the head by then

@Nemesis2459 I saw the movie a long time ago, but if I'm not mistaken, he ditched his friends when they left the investigation and he decided to remain with the hooligans, not to mention that he kicked one of them.

Can someone explain this for me? Does John become a neo-nazi because he really is on the 'Job' undercover or because he really believes in those ideas as a result of his actions in the film? Or are we meant to make our own minds up?
