As a ballet, tap, pointe, jazz, hip-hop,and lyrical dancer who has also preformed on toe tap several times, I'd like to mention that toe tap isn't any more dangerous then normal pointe. It's not slippery.

I agree with you. I have done both tap and pointe as well. I would be scared to do them both at the same time.

coming from someone who does both Tap and Pointe, this is unbeleivably dangerous! you're not supposed to do pointe on slippery surfaces in case you break your ankles so doing it on a metal tip is just suicide! I wonder how many bones were broken during rehersals of this!

My daughter loves this dance.
It is from the short movie BUBBLES (1930 - Vitaphone)
This was one of Judy Garland's first films. She sings with her sisters as The Gumm Sisters - her real name is Frances Gumm. They sing "The Land Of Let's Pretend." Baby Gumm (Judy) gets a 2-line solo in the middle of the song.
The video of this short is on the laser disc set "Judy Garland - The Golden Years At M-G-M".
A clip of the audio is on the 1998 CD boxed set "Judy".
