Spring Sky - My First Time Lapse Photography.
Images taken between 2pm to around 1am the following morning.
Daytime clouds through to the stars at night.
This is my first attempt at time lapse photography and I wanted to try and capture some clouds in the daytime and some stars at night. I've used different speeds of playback throughout to give some variation.
See if you can spot the super-fast flash of red light that streaked across the screen towards the end of this short film - don't blink because you'll miss it.
I bagged just over 5200 images over about 10 hours or so on a Canon 60D using the stock 18 - 55mm lens and I'm really pleased with the results. I think I could open the shutter a little longer to try and capture more light in order to let more stars in, but I'll save that for my next attempt.
Everything was switched to manual on the Canon 60D DSLR and I adjusted the ISO and shutter speed throughout the day.
Please let me know if you have some time lapse tips you can share to help improve my next one - thanks.
Did you use a remote to take the pictures? if so how many pictures per second was it set on?

Yes, I used an intervalometer and I took about 5200 in 10 hours, so 520 per hour which is around 8-9 pics per minute. I'll be testing some more soon with various time settings to see how they come out.
