  • The bench press form is one of the most heated discussions in weightlifting. Honestly as long as you're comfortable with your form and working chest, then you're good. If you feel irritating pain, change your form! It's different for everyone...

  • @TigerArm93 THANK YOU! THUMBS UP YOUR COMMENT!

  • If you bench the way this guy is doing, you're going to tear your rotator cuffs, this is terrible form, there's no arch in back, his forarms should NOT BE BENT INWARDS, and his arms SHOULD NEVER GO BELOW 90 DEGREES

  • @tehmike76 been doin it for years and only been gettin stronger and better results. Never hurt myself on a bench press.

  • whats the song playing at 0:55 till the end of the vid?Cant find it :X

  • @Lathrop35 hahaha that might have been the stupidest things ive ever heard its a tutorial lets calm down, thanks

  • You forgot to add the biggest must do to necking that push your chest and back out to keep the stress only on chest and not on shoulders

  • @FusedGamers whatever you can do 8-10 reps with (with strain) gloves can help when gripping and also prevent blisters or calists

  • @FusedGamers id say, do with the weight that you can get around 6 - 8 reps pretty easy, and 3-4 sets of those, increase weight, little bit everyweek. Gloves dont help, they will protect your skin a little, but cmon, we are MEN!!

  • @FusedGamers it depends on what you want to work on, if you wanna work on muscular endurance you should do beteen the 20's and 30's and do a higher rep count, but if you want muscular strength do high weight low reps, so in between 30's and the 45's

  • @TigerArm93 bang on mate... good comment!

  • I have a question i started at doing two twenties on each side and now i can do two 45s on each side, but only two or three reps. Should i downsize to maybe two 30s? Also do the gloves helps when lifting weights?

  • I use to think the bar had to touch my chest for it to be a perfect form bench press, now i decicded to just bring it to a 90 degree angle maybe just a few cm below a 90 degree angle but always close to that..and ive gotten so much gains in so little time.. i always suffered in the bench press i started to develope shoulder issues, all this becuase i thought it had to touch my chest and it just felt so unnatural..

  • Would someone here order supplements based on the guys advice that worked at GNC if he looked like a string bean? Would you rather take advice from a guy that looked the part? Why would you produce a video of you benching 10's and weighing in at 150 lbs wet? Please, leave it to the guys that know about and have been doing this stuff for a long time. You wasted my time in trying to perfect my form with your wanna be video. Keep the gym time up, lose the tutorial till you are ready.
