  • Bill makes a very true point, that classical music is listened to people all around the globe, but it puts some off because of the whole upper-middle class, snobby association that comes with it; when really it is beautiful music.

  • 'your in bloddy trouble' lol

  • @Shanniquitie There's no link between intelligence and classical music. Classical music is nothing more than a tradition perpetuated (funded) by the government. It can't exist by itself as there isn't a sufficient audience to fund it. People listen to it occasionally for the same reason we wear certain suits when we get married, why we wear ties, why we wear collared shirts. It has nothing to do with intelligence. It is mere tradition.

  • @Shanniquitie Classical music is middle class, as they are the only class that, as a group pretends to be a class level higher than they are. There's no inherent value in classical music over any other type of music. An unconscious pretension causes people to value it.

  • "You're in bloody trouble"

    He described that situation perfectly.

  • @meaning1 Tell me about it, I don't tell people I listen to Classical not because I'm ashamed of it, but because I don't want people to think I'm a total snob.

  • @Shanniquitie Fuck you cunt - so it doesn't matter if I'm working class and a student of music, I'm just too stupid? Fuck off!

  • I am Australian and I aboslutely cracked up at the "your in bloody trouble" bit. Mainly because there is some truth to it.

  • ive seen that doco!! hahahaha

  • @rottworks it...definitely sticks in ur mind. its very 80's-90's looking and i think it was to study species and their relationships with other animals or something. it was a while back. man i remember when they used to show a whole lot more videos when i was younger. schoolhouse rock, bill nye the science guy and magic schoolbus. man what happened to learning with entertainment?

  • @lephong Lucky! The only video I remember watching in a bio class was one about an English garden growing wild and the animals it attracted. It was interesting, but not quite as entertaining as this one seems to be.

  • @rottworks i've actually had to watch it for a biology class.
