@Sjarke98 well,God sacrificed Jesus his only begotten son right??? why does the God of the bible need a blood sacrifice??or a burnt offering??

And when it comes to the story of Abraham and Isaac, Abraham accepted and went through with his sacrifice, so we must conclude that Abraham conceived a God whos character involved human sacrifices. Abraham could have had an image of a loving God, he could dismiss the command as a test, a tempt from Satan, he could remind God of his omniscience making tests needless, but Abraham had an image of a God of human sacrifices, and for that he was rewarded.

Well, according to the Bible, God has sacrificed many children. He killed many children in Egypt as a part of a plan to save the Hebrews. This shouldnt have been necessary though, since God should be smart enough to figure out how to make a plan that wouldnt involve the death of innocent children, and the power to do it. God also accepted Jephthahs daughter to be sacrificed and did not prevent it. So I think we must assume that the god of the bible is of human sacrifice.

And my decision to reject it took 16 or 17 years... So what's the difference? I respect Judaism more than many faiths because they actually allow you to question it to some extent, but it's still just as ludicrous and unproveable as every other religious theory that's been dreamed up by humanity.

my decision to accept Torah Judaism took me ten months. :)

Alright I'm confused... You think the "truth" that took you over ten months to acknowledge is a belief in god (I'm guessing based on your profile)? Or are you saying the opposite, that faith is the lie and the truth that is so easy to understand is a lack of faith? This would seem more rational, as it's much more work to construct excuses for the world based on a particular faith than it is to let the evidence lead you (objectively) to a valid conclusion.

truth is easier to believe and understand than lies. Although it may take a while for someone who's accustomed to hearing fables so elaborate and twisted that they have become believable to acknowledge truth (it took me over ten months), in the end the hearts of the sincere always move toward the truth like waters toward the sea.
Aren't I poetic?

I watched it, I'm writing my response.
children, come on now, be nice! LOL! If Jesus is a lie, then He is the most loving, caring, and powerful lie that has ever been told, and His reach is far greater than any man or religion has ever or could ever be. To date, there have been billions of people from every race, all walks of life, and all levels of society and intelligence who have died loving God because of Jesus the Messiah. I defy anyone to do better.
