I love this Song!!! I play it on harp and I alway had problems with the melody but just after I heared the lyric I just pay it nearly perfekt :D

Beautiful music and beautiful translation. I love (and play) Renbourn's music, but I would suggest this version is a little too fast for a love song.

Surprising comment, I first thought you were American, but no, you're from Great Britain. Come on, cool down, let these words for the uneducated ones : our countries have been cousins for centuries. We encountered problems like all good neighbours do. But, remember : at the time of Guillaume de Machaut, French was still the official language at the court of the king of Engand... "Dieu et mon droit" "honni soit qui mal y pense"... etc. and music is beautiful common language.
