Personally, I wouldn't have equipped the spike then. However, I tend to be paranoid about blowouts. If the opponent's hand was devoid of ways to interact with his creatures, though, that would have been the strongest play.

yeah, I def. Don't agree with LSV's play to block the dregscape, blocking the 4/4 was the right play.

resounding thunder and some other burn straight up kills you if you don't block the 4/4
