Creating Marketing Strategies that drive customer traffic and increase revenue is a walk in the park for VMS, but creating a Strategy that drives students to enroll in college seemed more like walking on water. Hennepin Technical College was measuring a drastic decrease in student enrollment at their school, specifically in the Horticulture and Landscape Major. VMS met with the Administration, Teachers and even current students to get a full understanding of the program.
The Final result was a 60 and 30 second commercial to be aired on ABC Channel 45, during weekdays between the hours of 10am and 4pm. Covering all of daytime television, this would appeal to the largest market of their "Targeted Student" while keeping the strategy on budget, and not over spending for air-time on prime-time Television. Enrollment for the Horticulture and Landscape Major saw an increase in enrollment and student interest within one Semester of airing. Most new students stating "I never knew Hennepin Tech. Even offered that major until I saw it on TV!"
