Not up to him. Up to the studio people. On the twitter it was confirmed that pics and trailers were in the hands of the studio people (whoever they may be..who is it? Hopefully not weinstein...). A trailer won't surface till probably comi-con. They are going to be there..and hopefully we see more of that comic.
