I also don't like glue racing. Any track benefits from a proper spray, but wing cars are already point to point driving on most tracks. Punch blip punch blip punch blip punch blip = 1 lap on a normal King. And I like that, but gobs of glue take out the fun for me and what a mess. I no longer enjoy scale car formats, I drove Monograms and Revells on commercial tracks as a kid and Euros on an MTT as an adult. Tired of it.

@shaggybreeks . . . . I don't like glue racing either. I race hardbodies and retro cars. There's a new wing car class called "27 Lite" that only uses spray glue.

@N2YTA Glue??? I'm an old former slot car champ from the sixties, and am blown away by the cornering speed they're getting. But glue??? Seriously?
That's just wrong. I'm sorry. Aerodynamics is fine. But glue???

@faithfulcmm1972 . . . . We race FCR chassis hard bodies on Friday nights and retro cars on Tuesday nights.

@N2YTA Do you run 1/24 scale? Nascars?
-
@faithfulcmm1972 . . . .Each competitor prepares his next lane between heats. They use glue..
-
@N2YTA Do they use glue on their tires or lay any glue on the track?
-
@ZOOJAMPS These cars do not use traction magnets. The track braid is not magnetic. The cars in this video use aerodynamics for down force.

Must be magnetic... not the old 70's style...
There’s a new wing car category called “27 Lite” Where the track is spray glued before the race, and competitors don’t add any during.
