@kingkhan2 -- Unfortunately, due to thousand years of slavery, burning of our (yours too) universities and libraries(Nalanda/Taxila) and issues of survival taking prominence over knowledge ... People forgot Vedas.. I believe history as told today is not even remotely close to truth .. And neither you nor I can go in past. @tanolitiger : Hinduism as the whole lot refers to , is not the actual name . Sanatana Dharma is the true name . It simply means , Eternal Occupation "Service to God" . In a way , if you have noticed , you also follow this , by way of serving yourself , family , society , country and the world . "Religion" by word means Idea of faith . It changes from one to another . But the Truth prevails eternally . Any religion will fail , if it doesnot make an individual spiritual .
