Actually, my favorite version of this is a slightly toned down, samba-ish version by Cannonball on his 'PHENIX' release. Terriffic!

I always associate this one with Cannonball Adderley. However, Richie does a great job (he's really on form on these Jazz excursion vids) , note also at 3.41s how he quotes his own 'Island Breeze' from the album Alto Maddness.
I think Jeff on Piano is excellent. The perfect foil for Richie, No hate, no aggression, just - you tell your story and I'll tell mine. Wonderfull! 5*
