  • My family (Engelman family; Ron's family) doesn't have much in regard to recordings. If anyone out there has any to share, we would love to hear them!

  • Some are. I will eventually have some online. It's just gonna take a while. I'm tied up with my Senior Seminar course.

  • i was an avid listener to KWEST and KEARTH in the 80s - they were way ahead of their time - hilarious AND irreverent.... what Geniuses your dad and John were.

my friend and i actually were smart enough to record some of their skits onto cassette - i treasure those very much. im sure many of us would love to hear some old material if anyone out there has archives! i still need to commit mine to CD.

I imagine Ron making God cry with laughter doing his Gibby Dinkerwad impression.

    We miss Ron.

  • Very sad to know he's passed away! I still say "Move Over and Let The Big Dogs Eat" London and Engleman were on KMEL in the 1980's and funny as hell. Radio has not been the same since they retired! Peace to all!

  • Does anyone know whether any of his and John's morning show skits were ever recorded? The best way to remember him is to listen to his brilliance again.

  • I'll never forget Dan Woman Private Eye, The new Leave it to Beaver and the other radio skits he and London brought to morning radio. I was laughing so hard one morning that I had to pull over to aviod causing an accident. He has been and will continue to be greatly missed.

  • Loved listening to those guys in LA. Hilarious.

  • Fuck. this makes me cry. and sad. but im glad he had you. i credit London and Engelman for the man i am today. Quick witted and always disarming i make friends easily and am spoken well of (so iv'e eavesdropped) when i leave a room. I learned all that from those guys. I still have several shows on audio cassette tape. the Heyday. Rest, my friend

  • I had the HONOR of working with Ron back in the 90's in San Francisco. He, Kelly Foxx and I were part of a wonderful experiment known as "Engelman,Gunn & The Foxx" and I have to say that I've never met a more genuine human being.

We had our differences and that was our biggest strength. There was also a great deal of respect and love too.

My little brother Steve joined Ron back in February and I would only hope that they seek each other out.

I'm a better man for Ron having been in my life.
