I been weaved, fried, dyed and the like, but when I went natural, I received so many insults, from....guess who? The black women with relaxers, weaves. Also, the so called conscious "sistahs" told me nappy hair makes the best locs. my hair is curly... mine was not "black" enough. I don't care, it's your choice to lie or not to lye. To me I caught hell for both the relaxers and the sistahs. Some black women are truly mean...there's no words to desribe. You do have a valid point.

Didnt india arie make a song about this

I absolutely agree with you! my brother's girlfriend is one of those individuals who is all about the "natural" thing and bothers me about everything from hair to eating organic food. I've had my hair natural for the last 3 years and like you said I did that because it was personal choice regarding my hair care.....not because i wanted to be connected to my blackness or whatever else ppl try to call it...oh and by the way you are hella funny!

natural hair is beautiful ive been natural for a year now and its nothing wrong with it! for the relax girls i dont dog them out about there hair but... when you think about it relaxer is a chemical that if your using it you have to know what your doing if you dont your falls out. its not good for the hair. ut ive never attacked a black female with relaxed hair. are hair is supposed to be kinky anyways thats how god made us!

Hey baby I think you are responing to the wrong person sweete. I said I think your cute. You replied to me.
I think hair is fine. I would never stereotype a smart cute sister like you.
Wrong person
It's sad when black women get on here and embarass themselves only to find themselves later on down the line. Education is the key to understanding. How you feel today, you may noy feel tommorow, so watch what you say.

@blakmagic247
Thanks for watching ALL my videos!
your obviously trying to allude to the act of me shaving my head.
Son,I still feel the same way as I did a year ago when i made this video.
and "education" has nothing to do with the point made.
I can tell your the type to watch a video "and hear what you wanna hear"
and not the actual point. which is. "if you have natural hair please don;t look down on
those that are still locked into "whatever".

@GorGeousyetsmart
and was nothing "embarrassing" about what I said. Your an embarrasement for commenting
on an invalid subject. Ha!
ppl with natural hair consider themselves to be more "enlightened" than those with out. and I'm speaking
from alot of stand points and if this is a stereotype it's a popular one! So, my new hairstyle is JUST that
a hairstyle and this is my point! How did I find "myself". You don't know me, so your obviously saying me "shaving my head " is finding myself?
GorGeousyetsmart 1 year ago
EXACTLY, excuse me for my jumping to conclusions, but your a "dumass". Explain to me your reason for saying I "found myself" . You not knowing me personally to say this shows one thing, your talking about me shaving my head. Your saying me shaving my head is an act of "finding myself". No! it's a hairstyle.i love my new look it is a way to save money! Your proving right there how ppl w/ natural hair styles think! your advice is not received it's inessential. Shut UP & watch it again. Thanks!

CONTINUED-then thats your own self esteem. but u need to educate urself...the reason these hairstyles make such a statement is because of the movement they started with. THATS where the mindset comes from. and YES i have natural hair and PROUD...but do i think im better than others NO.
