Mountain biking the McKenzie river trail is a sweet 26 mile journey. We shuttled to the upper trailhead and made the trek on a hot summer's day. I see something different every time I do that ride. Depending on the time of day the water looks completely different. It goes from being dark and tranquil to bright and alive.

I love that trail! Great video.
My group actually passed you guys that same day. I hate to sound like your mom or something, but you really should wear helmets... my helmet actually saved my life earlier that week.

You can shuttle to the top if you have the transportation. We do it like that and sometimes we pick a section of the trail to ride as an up and back. The upper section is more technical. Depending on who we take with us we plan our trips accordingly. That trail is 26 miles one way and has something for everyone.
