In our continuing series on top gardens in Europe we travel to Britain to check out Sissinghurst which is north of Brighton. The area was developped in the 1930s by the English writer Vita Sackville-West and her husband Harold Nicolson. It comprises of small enclosed compartments giving each garden its own character, for example there is a white garden.
