@caldude Climategate is a non-issue and the scientists have since been absolved of scientific wrong doing: figures were not made up and it really was a fake controversy.

The MWP happened and was a regional phenomena following by cooling and global average temperature was NOT greater than global average temps due to modern global warming.

Look up "realclimate". It's run by working climate scientists and they give explanations of the science.

I hope you find this convincing.

@caldude I have seen that movie and it is fraught with inaccuracies and lies.

1) Major cooling and warming at regular intervals is due to orbital changes (Milankovitch cycles) and so is due to changes in insolation on the earth. CO2 rise will lag this kind of warming because it takes time for the oceans to release the dissolved CO2. Vice versa for this kind of cooling.

Greenhouse gases account for at least 1/3 of warming and cooling for these cycles.

@quidproquo2004 The rise in CO2 FOLLOWS the rise in temperatures hundreds of years later. It's a cycle caused BY THE SUN!!!! ALL the planets warm and cool TOGETHER!!! Got to Google video and search "The Great Global Warming Swindle" and "Global Warming Or Global Governance." Did you know that during the Medieval Warming Period England was covered with grape vineyards? Google "Climategate" as well. We have so many gullible retards that are willing to be slaves to a few evil global elite.

@caldude I have. Do you read scientific journals? If not, you should at least check out NOAA's "State of the Climate".

For instance, you might learn that the temperatures of the "Medieval Warming Period" are below the 1961-1980 mean. And, the temperature has continued to climb.

"Hide the decline" refers to a problem with the tree ring temperature proxy.
