If it hadn't been for Carter's foreign policy and weakness with Iran or with the Soviets, there never would have been the two wars we are in now. The Soviets wouldn't have invaded Afghanistan and Iran would never have emerged as the nexus of global Islamic terrorism.

Teddy Kennedy was a fat bloated drunk that got away with murder. He also used his influence to get his nephew a burial at sea off of a Naval Sea Vessal. Thats an honow thats bestowed upon very few exceptional war heroes. Teddy boy got it for his nephew that never served in any brance of the service. A complete and total mockery of that privledge.

id have to ask you why are you asking me these questions, im not a politician. Neveretheless all the stuff you cited amounts to a nice career after his presidency. I wasnt debating whether or not he is good at heart or have done good things. His presidency however was a failure. You would know that if you put down that shit rag written by Carter and read a book that tells you the real truth like a fucking history book.

how is he a great man? He builds shitty homes for people that cant afford them and cant maintain them. It is a nice gesture and im sure his heart is in the right place but it doesnt make him great. He was a horrible president with no accomplishments to speak of. How is he great. I know liberals like to make great men out of unknown and unproven men (Obama) and people that did nothing (Bill Clinton/Carter) but in real life achievments and real accomplishments determine your greatness

Carter was and is a decent man. Nixon was a crook. The last Republican President Bush left his country mired in 2 wars, the world on the brink of a new great depression and the banking system of America hopelessly corrupt and sending it's bills to the taxpayers and massive unemployment, still growing.
Carter looks good by a mile compared to that rubbish.

I'm not a liberal and I have to ask you... Have you ever volunteered to work on a Habitat House, conducted peace negotiations that resulted in the Panama Canal treaties, the treaty of peace between Egypt and Israel and the Camp David Accords? Maybe you should read one or two of Carters books and find out more about him. He has done more after his Presidency than any President in the past 50 years.
