"Israeli Arabs are generally non-assimilating and reside in villages where they administer their own municipal and internal affairs. They run their own schools, where Arabic, an official language of Israel, is the language of instruction. They govern their religious courts, which adjudicate matters relating to marriage and divorce. However, they have been greatly influenced by Israeli culture, incorporating aspects of it into their own. They learn and speak Hebrew fluently, watch Israeli television programs and read Hebrew newspapers. Arab companies are listed and active on the Israeli stock exchange. Also, young Israeli Arabs have adopted many practices of secular Jewish Israelis, such as wearing modern, Western-style clothing." -- The Israel Project

In the Middle East, 1.4 million Arabs experience true freedom. They live in Israel. They are citizens of the Jewish state and enjoy same legal and political rights as the rest.

300,000 million Arabs do not experience true freedom. They live outside the tiny strip of Israel under a misogynistic yokes posing as sovereignty and independence. The contrast between the Arabs in Israel and counterparts outside the strip are becoming distinct.

On May 15th 1948 Israel reaffirmed its 4000-year statehood.

The BBC Documentary, that should have been named 'The Rebirth of Israel', looks at this defining moment with enough material to flare up debate from both sides. It explains the events leading up to Israel's birth in 1948, defense of its borders and continuing impact on the Middle East peace process and Arab/Israeli relations.

Islam does NOT truly perceive "Jerusalem" as "holy." They want it as propaganda. Watch: "Why Palestinians Want This Video Removed"

  • state based on terrorist kidnapping bombing grounds. what a state. but, nowadays, strong modern state. just those grounds - not convenient...

  • @plainolamerican KEEP DREAMING.

  • @HATERAZZI1 You forgot that Jews returned to their own country (Israel) and that Arabs used to live in Arabian Peninsula only. In the 7-th century they stole Christian North Africa. The Iranians call Arabs "the locust" because Arab invasion and plunder of Persia ruined their country. Muslim mobs attack Christians every day. These mobs forced one million Jews to flee Arab countries after WWII. Their properties were confiscated. In most Islamic countries non-Muslims cannot own land.

  • @HATERAZZI1 HURR DURR NO ONE CARES. Arabs are jews... They have the same father.[Supposedly...]

  • The bottom line is the arabs were living there and Europeans came in and stole it. No matter how you try to justify it, that's what it is. Yes, the holocaust was horrible but get over it just as you expect African Americans to forget about their holocaust (which was 2000% longer and worse). People are afraid to say anything because they fear they will never become famous since Zionists run the world media. If the zionists are God's people then he raised a bunch of fucking thieves.

  • The world needs peace now. Its a shame that militarism is more alive today than ever.

  • If you talk about the birth of Israel without taking about the political dynamics during the First World War, you are a lair.

  • @LampPlaceThing Jerusalem, a city holy to Christians/Jews, and Muslims

    ---

to everybody else it's a pain in the ass.

mankind would be better served if it was turned into a parking lot

  • @Rafielita Didn't all those things happen?

    ---

no ... the US, Britain, and the UN gave israel to the zionists. Without the USA they still would not be able to keep it.

  • even the first line is a lie ... israel was given back to the jews, not won.

if the jews don't take out the zionists we will
