Zebra stallion fights to the death

A zebra stallion had possibly been fighting with another stallion and had his back foot broken. Seriously lame he quickly became the attention of some hyaenas. They surrounded him but he fought back. Soon they had tired him out and brought him down but not out. Again he fought back getting away from his aggressors. But the loss of blood and trauma were too much and the hyaenas soon had him down and out. Follow the action daily at Wildcast.net

Usually when an animal goes through getting eaten alive, they are in a state of shock and adrenaline is flooding their system which would dull any pain to nearly nothing

I wonder if the zebra would have "attracted" the attention of hyenas if they didnt have that bright as day spotlight shining on him in the middle of pitch black darkness??! Stupid evil greedy photographers.
