This is a look at my old BBS, The Last Stop, that I ran from January to October of 1996 when I lived in Brantford. This ran on a 486 Computer running at 40 MHz on a 14.4 Kbps modem, using the Renegade BBS software. This was running on the Windows 3.1 OS. This video was taken while we had company so that's what you hear in the background, and I took a break from taping that to see what was happening on my BBS and someone happened to be logged into it, doing a few things. It's amazing how far we've come since then, as the internet really started taking off at this point as many of the BBSs at the time started slowing down as everyone seemed to go to the net, which is why I took mine down by October of that year. As a matter of fact, I still have a floppy with the BBS on it, zipped up which takes up about 900 or so KB, with the program and customized ANSI screens I made up for it, but no door games.
