Seed Starting Indoors

Here's a video of an effort to start Little Caesar romaine seed indoors. These will go into my outdoor cold frame I recently constructed.

i would like to share that if you use Jiffy boxes and break up the soil instead of sticking the seed in the little circles, you can get any seeds that take 1 week, they will grow about 5 inches overnight. Also, the soil allows for the plants to be easily pulled out. The jiffy is amazing. Me and my friend did this with Cherry Tomato seeds and they grew 10 inches in 2 days. Then we HAD to plant them.

Can we use Ice trays? pierce a hole in the bottom for drainage, and cover with Clear wrap? it may work..

Anything that will hold soil and allow for drainage will work. Good thought!
