A compilation of Lama V3 flights in a beautiful sunset scenery. Some slight wind. Including happy fairy music and a spectacular death roll with car crash ;-) The heli however continued to fly with no problem, for your pleasure :-)

You can find hi-quality photos from this flight here:

Credits go to my friends who did the shooting, while I did the flyin', as always :-)

Music used: "Fairyland" by Scoopex, from their musicdisk "Melodies".

  • what mods did you do? i noticed you added some extra support to the landing feet, and some string hanging from the back (guessing antenna booster) , i just ordered this helicopter and am excited to get it, is the range very good?

this is the first comment in two years on this vid so i understand if you don't get back to me right away haha.

  • Actually the Lama V3 in this video was still pretty stock in configuration (I had it for about a couple of months). The only mods present are the Xtreme White blades (which allowed them to survive the crash).

All the rest is exactly as it was from the factory (I later upgraded the shaft with an extended one to give more speed and less blade clashes).

I had added some drinking straws to the landing skip to act as dampers when landing, and the wire you see hanging is the antenna (it's 35 MHz).

  • wish i had less wind in my area, i would fly mine outside more. ohh well. nice vid.

  • At moments it was a struggle keeping it in the air or at least in a particular direction :-) The best thing to do, when windy, is to bring the nose right against the wind and give forward cyclic. Just be really, really measured in giving throttle, as it can hover with much less throttle than on a calm day, and giving too much will make it go away.
