@pennieroyaltea What issue? My relationship is just fine and 7 years strong. I just challenge that stereotype that people push about these type of relationships. Like its a crime that those people are together. Now maybe, just maybe, its attitudes like that that basically encourage men to look abroad for a mate. I did, granted she's not Russian. Plus, over here, I don't see people looking down on relationships between people from different nations.

@pennieroyaltea Well there were plenty of American women found traveling to Jamaica to have sex with gigolos and bring back w/e STD they may have contracted to the states..and again the public said nothing about it. Not to mention I wasn't referring to some agency..I was referring to the fact that if a man is with a EE woman for whatever reason, then its seen as some problem.

@DeadSleepers Oh, you poor guys! Women do exactly the same things, and nobody complains then! By the way, can you refer me to some of those agencies that cater to women who are shopping for foreign grooms? I'd really like to find a man I can control, instead of these uppity American men.

@pennieroyaltea I never understood why it seems so taboo to be with a Eastern European woman. I have a childhood friend and she is with a Russian man whom she met the same way these men met their wives..by going to Russia. No one has anything negative to say about it when women do it yet a man is wrong for doing the same thing? It doesn't make sense to me is all.

The purpose of marriage agencies is that you (American man) become a source of income for the agency (i.e., translation fees, apartment rentals, gifts, etc.). Your success with the girl is secondary to the fact that they are making money off you.

Why do hideous men think they deserve attractive women? If these ugly men put some effort in to their appearance and social skills and got ride of their sense of entitlement, maybe they could get a woman! The men act victimized when it doesn't work out but they set themselves up for it. Listen up ugly men, if you think you can buy the affections of someone or think that your country is enough of an attraction... it's not, they still have to look at you and deal with you lack of social tact!
