This was a beautifully performed rendition of the Tannhauser Overture on the piano. It's a rather difficult piece, especially the crescendo & climatic parts, like at the end, but you handled the music quite well. The spirituality and passion of the piece shines through. Wagner would have been very proud. Bravo to you young man.

wonderful! it is evident that you truly feel this music. great work!

Fantastic! A truely Bolettesque performance, plus the pianist looks like Father Ted (!).
This is a seriously shining, sparkling performance!

Thanks

un buon tocco ma che e' troppo vincolato da una mancata scioltezza delle dita..peccato!

brilliant technique and thrilling performance of one of LIszt's greatest transcriptions for the piano! It is good to see Joel finally on YouTube!
Wonderful work, Joel! A very musical presentation of this great transcription. You go beyond piano playing (and that's quite impressive on its own).......you are bringing the music out first.......your virtuosity is in place for that purpose. CLASS! You have it.

This is absolutely amazing; my 2 favourite composers and my favourite instrument, combined in one piece. I'm moved to tears :)
