Tried to find my first cache last Friday in Derby, UK without success. This great video is inspiring me to keep trying to find my first - there are 10 within 15 minutes of where I live. Unfortunately tomorrow was the day I planned - and will have to perservere - rain or not!

luckily in new york it is hard to find a spot with no cell service, so i am licky, and my iphone brings me to within 9 feet of a geocache, which beats any gps i have ever tried. guess i gotta stick to geocaching in areas with cell reception for now

Obviously you've never used my GPSr! Mine is WAAS enabled and is usually accurate within 3 meters or less. Mine practically plants me on top of the cache (or underneath for those that are hidden above) unless I'm in an area where there is signal interference (in which case my GPSr is still usually accurate within 20 feet). I particularly enjoying wilderness caching, which is why I purchased my particular device. I am glad that geocaching with your phone is meeting your needs.

Good video, but some phones now have apps from geocaching sites built in, I can geocache with only mu iphone now, which is handy

True. But, cell phone geocaching does not work so well in remote areas. That's when you need a real deal GPSr. : )
