Kymani left Jamaica when he was seven years old, and he was raised in Miami, Florida. He also talks about the struggles of being an independent artist., and frustrations with popular music that lack a message. Kymani is also known for the movie Shottas, which has been called the greatest bootleg independent movie ever made.
