REO Speedwagon is an American rock band that grew in popularity in the Midwestern United States during the 1970's and peaked in the early 1980's. They took their name from the REO Speed Wagon, a flatbed truck and fire engine, manufactured by the REO Motor Car Company.
This song is from their 1978 album 'You Can Tune a Piano but You Can't Tuna Fish'. The album was REO's first to make the Top 40, peaking at #29. The album sold over 2 million copies in the U.S. which led it to go 2x Platinum.
