Final Project for 3D Studio Max, completed by two people in less than three weeks with 2 months 3DSMAX experience.

Due to a file disaster, we ended up having to ditch the robot's hands and come up with a cheesy "Magnetic Gripper" excuse.

Another glitch: Look for the one way transparent teapot!

Looking back, there were many thinks I would have liked to fix, but the time crunch was quite tight.

The name "The Stretched Parametric Objects" come from our 3D professor. Any time anything bad happened to an animation, he would yell (in his humorous Scottish accent) "You stretched a parametric object! I said never, never stretch a parametric object!" Wise words indeed.

Kiloman is a character for a Megaman parody series under development, and his dog, Limbaugh, is obviously a pun on Rush.

I hope you get a laugh. Blood, sweat, and tears.

And shortly after this video was rendered, all my development materials were stolen from campus, so my plans to later finish up the animation were foiled.

  • I've got to say this is pretty impressive for only two months experience. The credits (Kilo & Limb in "TITLE"), the piano background music, and the focus on slapstick blunders made it feel like a comedy from the silent film era.

  • Got to say I love it.... Many thanks....

    Don't stretch a parametric object!
